God is so real in my life!

I wish to take this opportunity to share with you about a wonderful enjoyment and satisfaction I feel within me for Christ and the church.

Just over 20 years ago, I was in the drug scene. Although I had received the Lord Jesus as my Saviour, He was not real to me at that time, and seemed to have no influence over my life.

Then suddenly I met a Christian who was enjoying the Lord Jesus and was full of joy. He spoke to me about the Lord Jesus and the church life he was experiencing. He led me to the Lord’s recovery. I praise the Lord for this person today. Twenty years ago, I was really lost and confused. But since the time I came into the church, the Lord has been gaining my heart little by little and I have found my heart turning more and more toward the Lord. As my heart turns to the Lord, the veils are being taken away and I really experience freedom from all that saddened my heart.

Today, I just praise God for being so real in my life. My wife and I are very happy in the church in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Many times a day we pray to our God and Saviour, and we can’t help but to sing to Him with joy in our hearts as we are being built with all the brothers and sisters in the church life.
